SAADP was not only a bursary scheme for me but provided a family

My name is Takalani Sikhavhakhavha, I am a qualified actuary (FASSA with a Life and Microinsurance Practising certificates) who was funded by SAADP. The SAADP was not only a bursary scheme for me but provided a family. I met many friends and mentors through the programme that even today I am still in touch with. I valued the extra tutorials, one on one counselling sessions and social activities that the programme provided. Through SAADP, my Actuarial Science journey was not a lonely one as I engaged and worked with others in the programme facing similar challenges. I will be forever grateful to SAADP for the opportunity.
