SAADP invites all South African High School from previously disadvantaged communities to participate in the Actuarial Talent Search Campaign (the ACTS).

The ACTS is the national student recruitment campaign aimed at reaching all High Schools capable of producing Level 7 achievers with information about the Actuarial Science profession and a bursary offer.

To participate in the ACTS, schools must:

  • identify at least three Grade 12 and 11 students (males and females) who are capable of achieving an "A" Symbol/Level 7 in Pure Maths, English (FAL or HL) and Physical Science;

  • be willing to give permission to recommended students to attend 2 hour information Session which is organised at a central venue. Parents and educators are also welcome to attend these session.
  • When requested , be willing to accommodate SAADP to conduct information Session with recommended students from the neighbouring schools.

By participating in the campaign, schools will have a number of indirect and direct benefits which include but not limited to the following:

  • A chance for learners to receive comprehensive bursaries, thereby creating post-matric study opportunities;
  • An opportunity to contribute in addressing the scarce skill in the country;
  • An opportunity to contribute in the transformation of Actuarial Profession;
  • Being featured in the SAADPNet Newsletter and other forms of SAADP publication.
