Student Selection


Interested learners and / or students must complete and submit the SAADP application forms. Application forms can be obtained through the post by contacting our office or by sending a request via email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

You can also download an application form by clicking on "Download Application Form" on the left hand side. Faxed forms will not be accepted.

The following documents must be submitted with the application form:

Grade 12 learners:

  • Certified copies of your final Gr 11 results and Gr 12 June results,
  • A passport size photo of yourself.

University Students:

  • Your recent academic record.

 The closing date is 31 August. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

  • All applicants in matric must write the National Benchmark Tests. Please fax us your NBT results on or before 31 August.
  • Applicants in matric must apply for admission at at least one of the participating universities before their closing dates. Please contact the universities for more information on their entrance requirements and closing dates.
  • We will send our applicants acknowledgement of receipt as soon as we have received their applications.
  • It is the applicants responsibility to make sure that we receive their final Grade 12 results within two days of their release by the Department of Basic Education.
  • Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and invited to attend interviews.
  • Only successful applicants will be contacted and informed of their bursary awards after the Student Selection and Monitoring Committee (SSMC) has made decisions.
